Where we Ship 

  • Hydroponic Solutions can only ship within Australia.  

  • We do not deliver internationally.   

  • Delivery locations must be current valid Australian street addresses and Post Office Boxes.  

  • Special arrangements can be made for delivery to the following Australian Territories: 

-Christmas Island 

-Cocos/Keeling Islands 

-Norfolk Island 

-Australian Antarctic Territory 

Please make sure to contact us directly before placing your order, if you require delivery to the territories outlined above. 

How we Ship 

We offer live-rate shipping options at checkout. What does this mean for you as our customer? It means that once you’ve selected your item(s) and clicked through to checkout you may be presented with several delivery methods and/or courier companies to choose from when you review your shopping cart. This will of course depend on the size and weight of your order, and your delivery location. For more information regarding how this is calculated please see the section below: 

Shipping Options and Freight Calculations 

Freight companies use several factors to calculate shipping costs: 

  • Weight of the shipment: Heavier items cost more to ship. 
  • Size of the package: The shipping company may use the size of the package to calculate dimensional weight which may be greater than the physical weight of the package. 
  • Distance: The further the package is transported, the higher the cost.  
  • Mode of Transport: Different transport methods (ground, air, sea) incur different costs. 
  • Fuel Surcharges: Shipping companies may add extra charges based on fluctuating fuel prices. 
  • Type of Service: Faster shipping services (e.g., express) often cost more. 
  • Extra Services: Additional services such as tracking, insurance and/or special handling incurs additional costs. 

 

Shipping Times and Considerations 

Estimated Delivery times: In the checkout section you will find estimated delivery times specified for each available shipping option. 

Geographical Considerations: Australia’s vast expanse means that occasionally, natural events such as floods and cyclones, may impact delivery schedules. As a result, we cannot provide absolute guarantees for outlined delivery timelines. 

  

Order Packaging and Dispatch 

All orders are discreetly and securely packaged in plain cartons for your peace of mind and privacy. Where possible, we use recycled paper, cardboard and/or plastic packing material to minimise waste and reduce our burden to the environment. 

 

In-Store Pick-Up (Click and Collect) 

Some orders are available on the website for pick-up only because of their size and bulk or because they are classified as hazardous goods. If any of these products are in your Shopping Cart at Checkout, In-Store Pick-up will be the only option displayed. 

  

Bulk Orders 

If you wish to place an order for bulk quantities, please contact us directly by email with details of the order so we can quote you the best delivery costs and liaise with you regarding delivery issues.

 As we are a Perth-based company, we are pleased to offer special discounted delivery rates! These preferential rates apply exclusively to physical street addresses. Please see below: 

  

Perth Metro Flat Rate: $10 per 25 kg/100L Box 

  

Examples of items falling within the 25kg/100L category include: 

1. Liquids (Nutrients and/or Additives); 20L containers (e.g., 20x1L, 4x5L, or 1x20L) 

2. Substrates; 2x50L bags of Perlite or Coco peat, 1x50L bag of expanded clay (Agri Leca) 

3. Other Examples; Most grow tents, All LED grow lights 

  

Exceptions: 

1. Some very large grow tents 

2. Bulk orders of grow media (substrates) 

Please note that if the products are oversized or the order is too bulky, this offer may not be available. In such cases, you may wish to choose Click and Collect for in-store pick up. If you would still prefer to have your bulky order delivered, you can contact us for a customised delivery quotation and solution.  

 

Estimated Delivery Times for Perth Metropolitan Area 

Customers in most suburbs within the Perth Metro area can expect delivery within 1-2 days. Please note that customers in certain outer suburbs may experience slightly longer delivery times due to limited courier availability.
