Why pH Matters

Plants absorb nutrients most efficiently when the pH is within the correct range. If the pH drifts outside the ideal range, nutrients can become unavailable, even when they are present in the solution. Regular testing and adjustment helps prevent nutrient lockout, encourages healthy root development and supports vigorous plant growth.

For most hydroponic nutrient solutions, the ideal pH range is 5.5–6.5, although this may vary depending on the plant species.

How to Use

1. Add all nutrients and additives to your water.

2. Mix thoroughly and allow the solution to settle.

3. Test the pH using a reliable pH meter or test kit.

4. If the pH is too low, add GT pH Lift one drop at a time.

5. If the pH is too high, add GT pH Drop one drop at a time.

6. Mix well and re-test after each addition until the desired pH is reached.
